The unfortunate Ioanna, who had reported incidents of domestic violence to the authorities, had been dead for more than 7 days and her body was found in a state of decomposition.

Her 27-year-old Pakistani partner, who had previously been arrested on drug charges and released, is said to have managed to flee abroad after the crime.

“I did not approve of her relationship with the Pakistani. She told me ‘I’m old and I know what I’m doing’. I told her, “Watch out! The others were saved and you’re going with a Pakistani?’ And he hung up on me!” declared the mother of the deceased Ioanna, speaking on the show “Truths with Zina”.

“I want her to be found and punished so that her soul can rest in peace,” said the 35-year-old’s mother and added “it is a shame for the children to learn how their mother died, that they killed her.”
