Armed men carried out a series of attacks targeting Pakistani forces and mineral transport vehicles in Balochistan’s Gwadar, Noshki, Kech, and Dukki districts over the past two days, causing vehicle damage, seizing weapons, and allegedly inflicting casualties.

In Gwadar, armed fighters reportedly seized weapons and government vehicles from a Coastal Highway Police and Customs post near Nalent Zero Point before fleeing the scene. No casualties were reported, but Pakistani forces have since launched an operation in the area.

Notably, this incident marks the fifth instance this month of weapons being seized from Levies and police personnel in various parts of Balochistan. Baloch “pro-independence” armed groups have claimed responsibility for several such attacks.

In Kech district’s Nazrabad area near Turbat, local sources said that armed men used an improvised explosive device (IED) against a Pakistani forces convoy, causing vehicle damage and casualties.

Meanwhile, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), the region’s most active “pro-independence” armed group, claimed responsibility for three separate attacks on Pakistani forces and mineral transport vehicles in Noshki and Dukki districts.

In a media statement on Wednesday, BLA spokesperson Jeeyand Baloch said five “enemy personnel” were killed and six vehicles damaged or destroyed in what the group described as “operations against the occupying Pakistani army and mineral-carrying vehicles.”

According to the statement, BLA fighters ambushed a three-vehicle Pakistani military convoy on Wednesday afternoon at the Ghareebabad bypass on the outskirts of Noshki. One soldier was allegedly killed on the spot, with at least three others wounded after BLA fighters used automatic weapons and grenade launchers to target a single vehicle in the convoy.

On Tuesday night, the BLA reportedly targeted five trucks carrying what it called “looted Baloch national resources” on the main highway near Zorabad in Noshki. Three trucks were set on fire, while two others were disabled by gunfire.

In Dukki, the BLA claimed its fighters attacked a 12-vehicle Pakistani military convoy using heavy and automatic weapons. The group alleged that at least four soldiers were killed during this operation.

The BLA reiterated its commitment to targeting “occupying forces” and those involved in exploiting Balochistan’s resources. Pakistani government and military authorities have yet to comment on the reported damage or casualties from these attacks.
