Pakistan leader’s big admission days after Delhi blast: ‘Struck India from Red Fort to forests of Kashmir’

In remarks that signal a clear support for the recent terror attack in New Delhi, Pakistani leader Chaudhry Anwarul Haq has boasted about targeting India from the “Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir”.

Haq, who was the so-called Prime Minister of Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir, made the controversial remarks in the PoK assembly following his own ouster as the premier.

“I had earlier said that if you (India) keep bleeding Balochistan, we will strike India from Red Fort to the forests of Kashmir, and our Shaheens have done it. They still can’t count the bodies,” Haq said in a video that is doing the rounds on X.

The remarks again expose Pakistan’s backing and support of terror groups targeting India.

The references to both, the Red Fort and the forests of Kashmir. are clear allusions to the recent terror attacks in the country — the one in Pahalgam on April 22 and the other in New Delhi earlier this month.

On November 10, a suicide bomber driving a slow-moving car triggered an explosion near the Red Fort in Delhi, killing at least 15 people and injuring several others.

The mastermind of the blast, Dr Umar Nabi, is part a ‘white-collar’ terror module that is connected to the Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Muhammed (JeM). The module was busted in Faridabad just hours before the attack.

Meanwhile, according to reports, the Pakistani government has distanced itself from Haq’s statement, calling it a political blunder by a disgraced leader after his no-confidence vote defeat in PoK.

This is not the first time a Pakistani politician has exposed Islamabad’s role in cross-border terror.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Sohail Afridi recently accused the Pakistan government of benefiting from “fake” terrorist attacks, alleging that Islamabad is “manufacturing terrorism” for political gain.

Afridi said the Centre was fuelling staged attacks while blocking peace efforts in the troubled Khyber region, TOLO News reported.
