On Monday, March 27, 2023, as part of the repositioning of an Indian Air Force (IA) echelon at Andravida Air Base for refueling, a joint training of 2 Air Force F-4E Fighter Aircraft with Mirage 2000 aircraft of the Indian Air Force was conducted.
The joint training is part of the framework of international actions of the Armed Forces aimed at strengthening Military Cooperation with friendly countries, and during it missions of area defense interception, low-sea flight and virtual attacks on surface targets were carried out, contributing to the promotion of the level of operational readiness and combat capability of the Armed Forces of Greece and India.
It is also noted that following the actions of the #GEETHA and the GEA, the close cooperation of the Armed Forces of the two countries was sealed, with the participation of the Indian Air Force for the first time in the Multinational Exercise “HINOCHOS 23” with Su-30 Aircraft, which will be held from 24 April to 05 May 2023. The continuous upgrading of Exercise “HNIOHOS” and the increase of its operational value, attracts the interest of friends, partners and allies, who every year increase their participation in it, making it a pole of attraction and a field of exchange valuable business training experiences.
