PTI to stage protests across Pakistan today evening. Imran Khan will lead the protest. It may start at 10 pm IST at Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9 Park), Islamabad. His agenda looks to be foreign conspiracy in the fall of his government.
Imran Khan said on Twitter, “Pakistan became an independent state in 1947; but the freedom struggle begins again today against a foreign conspiracy of regime change. It is always the people of the country who defend their sovereignty & democracy.”
PTI lawmakers to resign en-mass, starting with national assembly, if Shehbaz Sharif gets elected as Pakistan’s prime minister.
Imran Khan and his cabinet has also been de-notified, marking the success of the no confidence motion.
“As per the recommendation of core committee, we will resign,” Fawad Chaudhary said.
Hammad Azhar, Former Energy Minister, Pakistan, said, “Peaceful protest will be carried out throughout the country today. The country stands with Imran Khan!”
Farrukh Habib, ex Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting, said, “The nation has decided that it is launching a struggle under the leadership of Imran Khan and a big public campaign is going to start from Peshawar in a few days.”
