In the Kohlu district of Balochistan, the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA) claimed responsibility for an attack on a Pakistani forces post in the Noy-e-Sham area of Lond. The assault took place last night, involving the use of rockets and other heavy weaponry.
According to the BLA spokesperson, Jeeyand Baloch, the attack resulted in the deaths of two soldiers and injuries to at least four others. The spokesperson stated that this operation was part of the ongoing resistance against “occupying” forces in Balochistan.
Local sources reported intense gunfire and explosions during the attack. Following the incident, ambulances were seen heading to the area, and the military deployed helicopters. However, authorities have not provided official details about the casualties or the extent of the damage.
This attack follows another recent incident in Dukki, where two Pakistani soldiers were killed. The BLA had also claimed responsibility for that assault.
Additionally, last month, the BLA’s Majeed Brigade and special unit Fatah Squad carried out significant operations in Quetta and Kalat, reportedly killing over 60 military personnel and injuring several others.
