Greece: Pakistanis robbed and hit a tourist from South Africa

According to exclusive information of L&O today 26/03/2022, on Socratous and Acharnon Street at 11:00 in the morning, a foreigner was found badly beaten by police officers of the DI.AS team, with the victim stating that he received blows to the back, head and feet, when four strangers robbed him and managed to remove his cell phone in Omonia.

As the victim described to the police, while the latter were giving him first aid, the perpetrators were most likely of Pakistani origin, with the foreign tourist from South Africa giving a detailed description of his clothes and body type.

Within twenty minutes, the DI.AS team located a large group of foreigners, many of whom matched the characteristics given to them by the victim, and after checking them, with the help of the station, the unfortunate foreigner arrived, where he identified the perpetrators.

It should be noted that the perpetrators, two Pakistanis, were in possession of a metal bar as well as the wooden pole with which they attacked the tourist to take his mobile phone.

They were immediately arrested for robbery together and bodily injuries and were taken to the Omonia Police Department.
